Character Name: Thraxion Ord'rakar
Species: Crocutan
Planet of Origin: Leucrotta
Age: 20
Height: 6'9"
Physical Description: Thrax looks like a large, muscular anthropomorphic hyena. He has reddish-brown fur with only a few darker spots, mostly on his snout, which is missing a fang on the left side. His wardrobe choices tend towards red and the colors of a thunderstorm.
Personality: Loud, brash, and excitable, he loves the rush of a good fight. The only thing that surpasses his natural inclination toward violence is his love of music. He is good-natured but has a tendency to make wildly reckless decisions that cause trouble for himself and those around him.
Power Explanation: Thrax is a Var'Ushok (Stormborn), a Crocutan born with the ability to influence the constant thunderstorms that roll across his planet. In more specific terms, he has the ability to manipulate electricity and wind (to a lesser degree) as well as project a modest amount the former. While his talent is meager, true power lies in using a specially designed musical instrument called a Tiruga (like a guitar but also a weapon) to enhance his abilities.
History: Thrax was never much as a kid beyond being a mischievous trouble magnet. He was on the small side for his people and was often made fun of for it, and acted out in a desperate attempt to stand out for literally any other reason. When his powers revealed themselves, he got his wish. He was sent to join the Var'Xarugi (Stormsingers) and commenced his training to become a sort of singing warrior monk, a role of significance in his society. And there, he blossomed.
But that bright future was not to be. While still an apprentice, there was a violent military coup, and the order was given to purge adherents of the benevolent faith that had governed his world for over a millennium because the new order believed it to be making their people weak. Thrax was chosen to take a sacred relic and helped to flee the planet. Sadly, he was the only one at the monastery to make it out (at least, as far as he knows).
He spent the next three years flitting aimlessly across the galaxy, performing music and engaging in a variety of dubious odd-jobs to keep himself fed. It'd be a lie to say that he didn't enjoy it but, at the same time, it felt hollow. And then, he discovered that the new rulers of Leucrotta had placed a bounty on his head. While dodging a bounty hunter, he found himself flying towards a little blue planet called Urth or something like that. He just knew they had good music.
