He was working at a dig site of an unearthed Sumerian temple when he fell into a deeper section and touched an idol he shouldn't have and got extremely sick. He was slowly transformed into a monstrous beast, the very image of the idol, and killed nearly the entire dig team before PATHS intervened. After some time in a PATHS lab, he was helped to regain some semblance of humanity and was subsequently trained as an agent.

Personality Profile:
- Agent is brave, bold, and often puts others before himself. He is plagued by guilt and subject to inhuman instincts. He frequently acts with reckless disregard for his safety. Possesses low self-esteem, poor impulse control, and a tendency to solve problems with his fists.

The Weird:
- Agent possesses inhuman strength and vitality, capable of shrugging off many injuries and with sufficient time recovering from wounds fatal to humans.
- Agent has enhanced senses and night vision.
- Agent must wear a magical circlet to maintain a humanoid form and his intellect, otherwise, he grows into a larger, more animalistic form even more beholden to instinct.
- True form is a hybrid of lion and lizard with a serpentine tail. He has dark fur over most of his six-legged body, aside from his scaled tail and midsection. Has four eyes and a long, forked tongue.
- Suppressed form presents as largely human in proportion and face, with only two eyes and arms.

Additional Personality Information

Leo has always been a creature of the id; his transformation having only brought it more to the surface. He can't tell where he ends, and the monster begins. He is bold, brash, and brave to the point of recklessness. This isn't to say he isn't intelligent or capable of self-reflection, quite to the contrary in the latter's case. His sense of self-worth is poorly developed, and he constantly doubts if he really is a good person and not just fooling himself into believing he can be more than the incorrigible delinquent of his youth. He was that way largely because he couldn't cope with his feelings of abandonment by the birth parents who died and left him with the Eskandari's but also for reasons that he still can't put words to. Except perhaps that he doesn't feel he belongs anywhere.

Physical Description: Hybrid Form

Leo's most striking feature is a fiery red mane that extends down to just above the base of a prehensile, reptilian tail that wouldn't be out of place on a dragon. Second to his hair is his eyes, which are like burning orange embers. His face is otherwise that of a Caucasian human, with the exception of pointed ears, too-sharp teeth, and a forked tongue.

He is mostly covered in scales the color of dark jade with darker stripes on his back and tail with lighter scales on his belly and the underside of his tail. His waist, upper torso, and upper biceps are covered in black fur and he has red tufts on his elbows, the end of his tail, and the back of his hands and feet. Lastly, his fingers and toes possess claws as black as night and sharp as razors.

Physical Description: Beast Form

The same. But significantly larger, perhaps the size of an elongated polar bear, with a head like a cross between that of a lion and that of a lizard or dragon, six legs, and four reptilian eyes.
