They'd moved the bed out of one of the rooms and now Michaela was lounging in it former place. Her middle head was currently in a neck brace and conscious again. One of the well-meaning nurses had mock-threatened her with a cone of shame to try to cheer her up, but that hadn't gone over particularly well.

"You look like you're doing better." Nash said as he walked into the room, his right arm in a sling.

"I'm feeling more like myself. They said it would take a while before my regeneration dealt with all the damage, so I'm stuck like this for a bit. How's the arm?"

"Busted up my elbow a little bit like I had guessed. The healer already went over it once and took care of the worst parts."

"Probably splitting my time between school and the internship," she said. "But if I'm spending more time in London, I can't be counted on for the response times the X-Men require."

Nash turned to Tosh "I'm assuming you got shot as Bruce, otherwise you'd look way worse off."

"Jesus! You got shot!? Are you okay?" she asks maybe somewhat stupidly, considering that Tosh is standing right there.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Bruce can apparently take small arms fire pretty well. Shifting back mostly closed it up," he said, pretty relieved himself.
