Operation Relocation

It's a little after midnight and Robin is sneaking down the hallway of the dorms towards the Wolf Den, pointlessly sticking close to the wall, but that's what you do when you're sneaking. Once she gets to the door of Sam, Tereza and Viv she presses herself against the wall next to it and grows out her ear on a cartoonish stalk to press it against the door and listen for any signs of sleep or lack thereof.

"Do you hear anything yet?" Will asked, wearing an obviously unnecessary surgical mask. It could be anyone with green hair!

Samantha murmurs on the other side, rolling over in the bed.

There's a low grumble growl as Tereza adjusts position in response to Sam's movement.

"They sleepin'." Robin whispers back and steps up to the door and begins squeezing herself underneath.

Will went through the gap between the jam and the door, so they could both enter the room simultaneously.

"Tereza's a heavy sleeper, but not impossible to awake. Be careful."

"Well then stop talking!" she whispers back, looking around and locating the bed. Tip-toeing closer she puts her hands on the mattress and begins soaking into it with a barely suppressed snicker.

Will carefully, carefully, squeaked the door open, frowning when looking at the dimensions of the mattress and the opening. He began miming size proportions towards Robin to indicate the issue.

Of course, it's not just one mattress. For the time being, they've had to make do with three of the dorm beds pushed together.

Which would make Robin's case that their bed isn't great, but it's also more than one object.

What Robin is also becoming quite aware of is that Sam isn't wearing anything under the covers.

Three mattresses at least helps with the issue of fitting through the door, so that's kind of a good news, bad news situation. The Robin-infused mattress carefully curls up at the sides to try and see how the sleeping pack is distributed across the improvised extra-wide bed, trying to scoop up Sam and move towards the door. With the sheets and whatnot serving as bit of a seperation she's not too concerned about Sam's preferred way of sleeping. If anything it's gonna make the prank all the funnier. Assuming none of them wake up in the meantime.

One of the blankets haphazardly thrown across the bed goes with her and Tereza starts grabbing for it in her sleep, growling slightly.

Will slinked over and grabbed the blanket trying to keep it from sliding off with Robin and Sam, to keep the angry wolf asleep.

Robin stops for a moment, the Mattress-Burrito breathing a sigh of relief when Will liberates the blanket and heads towards the door again, marching out with four little legs sticking out the bottom.

The angry wolf loops an arm out and pulls Will and the blanket in, snuffling in her sleep as she tries to get comfortable again.

Will let out a small *eep*, collapsing and shifting into a second blanket to try to prevent Tereza from thinking Something Was Up.

Tereza twitches a little at the eep, but the second blanket settles her back in and she starts sleeping solidly again.

Robin meanwhile carefully tightens up the mattress-burrito with extra Sam to squeeze through the door and take off down the hallway, trying her best not to snicker too much as she does.

Will settled in, waiting for Robin to get back. Any movement now would wake up a confused, and then angry, wolf. That's something to try to avoid: life skills.

The Sam-burrito murmurs a bit as Robin squirms to get across the door's threshold, but doesn't seem to have woken up yet.

Emboldened by her success so far Robin hurries down the hall with minimal bounce in her step and maneuvers the mattress all the way out through the front door and places it on the gravel driveway before slinking away, snickering.

A couple minutes that probably feel much longer in the clutches of the sleeping wolf, she pokes her head back in underneath the door, the rest of her following soon after. She gives a thumbs-up to the blanket before seeping into Tereza's mattress to repeat the process.

"Hurry up," Will whispered, "because I don't know how much longer she'll stay asleep."

"This is a delicate operation!" Robin whispers back as she squeezes through the door and scoots down the hall.

Finally she puts the mattress down next to the one already sitting in the driveway in front of the dorms and hops out of it, looking at her work and nodding to herself. "Excellente. And now we wait for everyone to wake up." she grins.

Being a bit cold, Sam reaches for the nearest warm, occasionally furry thing available, cuddling up to Tereza.

Whether this traps a hapless shapeshifter in the bargain is a detail she honestly can't be bothered to look after.

This was, it was safe to say, a bit of a problem. With Tereza pulling Will in tight, and Sam cuddling in close, Will was trapped between the flock and a hard place.

After taking a moment to compose himself -- and to see if Sam would flop back the other way, as restless as she could sometimes be -- Will started inching, agonizingly slowly, down; trying to slip out of the grips of the wolf and her pack.

Something about Sam's need for warmth seems to trigger the change in Tereza and she fills out, getting furrier as she grows in size. Of course, with the wolfish snout comes better senses and her nose starts wrinkling and twitching as the smells are not what her sleep-addled brain is expecting.

Will tried to lean back away from Tereza, flattening himself more against Sam to try to avoid the Tell-Tale Nose.

Meanwhile Robin does precisely nothing to help, trying to keep her snickering quiet. If this spirals out to pranking her Dad right along with them then hey, bonus.

This doesn't get Will away from Tereza for long, as the growing fur and added warmth result in Sam's arms reaching out and her fingers digging into Tereza's pelt, nuzzling into her girlfriend.

Tereza's eyes open slightly as she mumbles something about "What's that smell?" Her ears twitch as her brain registers more of the 'outdoor' noises.

"Meef."

New plan. Sam wants to get closer to Tereza? Sure, why not. The Will-blanket got progressively thinner and more threadbare, trying to reduce his surface area -- less Will to grab, more girlfriend, and maybe the grip will become loose enough he can slide out without disturbing anyone...

"...what smell?" Sam murmurs.

She's less concerned about the blanket at the moment, clinging to Tereza.

Will used the slight motion of Sam and Tereza as they began to wake up to slip that much further down -- maybe, just maybe, he'd get away with this afterall.

"It's..." Her eyes open a bit more and her brain begins to process that they're outside. She's briefly puzzled and then she begins looking around, "How are we outside?"

"Goooood morning!" Robin laughs loudly, spreading her arms wide. It's still pretty early, so there's not that many people about, but a couple do stop and stare along with people looking out their windows at the commotion.

Sam scrambles to cover up with one of the blankets. Whether that's a normal blanket or an incognito shapeshifter is not exactly a priority at the moment.

"What the hell?"

Indeed, because of their close proximity, Sam grabbed the slightly off-green blanket to protect her modesty. Better than nothing, one supposes!

It takes Tereza a moment to process the voice and the surroundings. "Robin," she says, standing up behind Sam, her furry hulk looming behind her girlfriend in a protective posture.
