Xaviers!

Tereza sat down on the steps of the dorm, outside the party. The top on her beer popped off without visible help and she took a sip from it, made a face and set the beer aside.

"May I join you?" Vivienne asked from behind Tereza. She had a bottle of fruit based beer and a bottle of water.

"I'm not very good company on my best days, but if you can put up with me, have a seat," Tereza said, smiling and motioning to a spot next to her.

"You do seem to be more aloof then most of the others, but I actually find that oddly comforting. There were so many inside, it became overwhelming." She sat down and inspected the top of her beer.

"Yeah, large groups of people still get to me on occasion. You seemed kind of lost a couple of times. What was going on?" The bottle in her hands got cold and the cap popped off.

"Jez referred to it as a "culture shock". I am unfamiliar with many terms that were used and am unsure as to what is and is not socially acceptable. I am still most uncomfortable about the shocking amount of skin that is acceptably to display, especially in mixed company." She sniffed at the contents of her bottle, then took a drink.

"In most cases, you can show off as much skin as you feel comfortable showing. Too a point. There is a point where the law gets involved."

"I think I will be spending my evening tomorrow in town. I am undoubtedly unprepared for...everything."

"I'm going to London tomorrow. I was going to go tonight, but I've missed the bus now. We could walk down to Maldon tonight though if you want."

"I will need to go to my room a moment and get my pack and money, but yes. I would like that."

"I've got some money, I can get us some stuff if we need it, if you'd rather not bother with going in."

"There is much I need to get, it may become expensive." She lightly bit her lip. "I should also let Jez know I am leaving."

"Most of the places you'd probably want to shop are probably closed, but we can look."

"No harm in looking." She smiled and finished off her drink. She kept her water with her as she stood and ducked inside for a few moments. She returned with her pack.

"Lead the way."
