"And I'm not sure I can trust you to go on the run and not murder a ton of people. And so, we're at an impasse."

[Conduit]

Conduit groans. "What is it with you and murder this, murder that?" she throws her hands up. "I've barely killed anybody since I've come here! People not handling their new powers isn't my fault and the prison was all that cuckoo-crazy guy. All 'splosion, no style! You should applaud my restraint." she crosses her arms petulantly.

[Will Stanton]

"I'll applaud when you're in restraints. Come on, we're going back to the University."

[Conduit]

"That's a no for me, but thanks for playing." she says and snaps her fingers at the same time as she activates the taser embedded in Will's clay.

[Will Stanton]

Or, at least, that had been Conduit's plan.

A hole had opened up in Will's torso, with a small, internal hand gripping the taser, flinging it at Conduit just before she could activate it!

[Conduit]

Conduit might be smart but she also perpetually underestimates those around her. Especially Will. And so she's caught entirely unaware and mid-gloat when Will's stomach-hand jabs her with the taser. And at the end of the day, she's just a young teenager who, like most people who come into contact with electricity, convulses and collapses to the floor.

"Right. Well, off to see the wizard with you, then," Will said, hoisting Conduit up on his shoulders.
